Rehabilitation of wild born pups

Rehabilitation of wild born pups

We prepare each wild-born pup for captive living by gradually introducing them to the sounds and sights of daily life. This process includes acclimating them to living indoors, where they learn essential skills such as toilet training and lead training. They also develop manners and socialisation, helping them adapt to the usual noises of a home environment. By the time they are ready for adoption, these experiences make the transition as smooth and normal as possible.

Every pup has a unique personality; some adjust quickly, while others may be more timid and take their time to settle in. We allow each pup to come out of their shell at their own pace, helping them navigate the way from their wild beginnings to a comfortable life in a loving home.

We can have up to 13  or more pups in our care at any given time, from various ages as young as 3 weeks, this keeps us incredibly busy and always on our toes! They all suffer from the trauma of losing their parent dingoes and taken from their natural habitat, the only home they know, which is in the wild Australian bush.

Each pup receives comprehensive care, including all vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, flea and tick treatments, and desexing. As you can imagine, our vet bills can add up to quite a significant amount. We are dedicated to ensuring that every pup receives the medical attention they need to thrive and find loving homes
